blueSIM: It is a mobile data service for travellers. Instead of a physical SIM card, you receive a digital eSIM, install it on a compatible smartphone and connect to a mobile network at your destination.

You choose a destination and suitable data package, pay and receive an eSIM with installation instructions. According to the team, issuing the eSIM typically takes about 30–60 seconds.
You then add it to your phone using a QR code or manual installation details. On most compatible modern devices, that takes a few minutes.
There is no need to visit an office, present a physical SIM card or work through complicated settings. Support is available if you need help. Check compatibility before buying; downloading and installing the eSIM profile requires an internet connection.
blueSIM: No. You can buy an eSIM in advance and activate it when you need it.
The stated initial activation window is up to 180 days after purchase. That is useful for people planning ahead, buying connectivity with their flights or still deciding when to travel.
The selected package's validity begins when it is activated on a supported destination network. You can therefore prepare the eSIM at home and use it after arrival. Check the activation rules of the particular package you choose.
